Overview
Operation Himachal Odyssey is a comprehensive 14-day motorcycle expedition traversing the most spectacular and challenging terrain in Himachal Pradesh. This circuit combines the ancient temples of Kinnaur (Bhimakali, Chitkul), the stark beauty of Spiti Valley's cold desert, and the raw adventure of Sach Pass - rated among India's most dangerous roads. From Chandigarh, the route climbs through apple orchards to India's last village at Chitkul, then enters the trans-Himalayan cold desert via 1,000-year-old monasteries at Tabo and Key. After crossing Kunzum Pass and camping at the legendary Chandratal Lake, riders face the expedition's crux: the remote Pangi Valley and the infamous Sach Pass crossing. The journey concludes in McLeodganj, home of the Dalai Lama.

- Multiple technical sections requiring off-road experience
- Monsoon affects road conditions July-August
- 14-day commitment with 10 riding days, 3 rest days
